General Club Rules

When entering and leaving the clubhouse, make sure all doors and windows are closed and locked, even if you did not open them.

Anyone using the kitchen facilities must clean up and leave the kitchen tidy.

If the thermostat is adjusted, it must be reset to 60 degrees in the winter, or, IN THE SUMMER, TURNED OFF before leaving.

Treat The Club facilities, members, and guests as you would in your own home: Common sense and courtesy should prevail.

Keep the gate to The Club grounds closed, if found open close the gate. If you observe someone not closing the gate remind them to do so.

Visitors must be escorted by a member- but cannot use the facilities, unless expressly authorized.

Range Rules and Conduct:

No alcohol is permitted at any range at any time!
Be courteous and share the range when more than one shooter is present. Be very careful to clear the weapon and place rifles in the racks when not actually firing.

Automatic weapons are strictly forbidden, regardless of any permit.

No tracer, armor piercing, or tactical bullets are to be used. Nor are grenade launchers, and other non-target or similar specialized use of rifles, handguns or shotguns allowed.

ALL firing must be aimed: the ranges are for Target shooting ONLY!

All spent cases must be picked up and disposed of properly-including 22 caliber cases.

Targets are to be paper only. NO cans, clay birds (except on trap range), shotgun shells, balloons, etc.

Place targets on Celotex boards provided and place in metal stands only.

Rifle Range:

Semi-Automatic, Bolt Action, Pump, Lever, and Hunting rifles are allowed, but MUST adhere strictly to the rule requiring aimed fire at a target. Firing as fast as the mechanism or trigger pull allows is forbidden.

Do not use this range to pattern shotguns. Use special area at the trap range.

No pistol shooting except at the 100/150 yard target.

Pistol Range:

All Pistol and Revolver fire is to be aimed. “Cowboy” shooting such as fanning single action revolvers, quick draw tests and the like is strictly forbidden.

Long range pistol firing must use the 100/150 yard target on the rifle range.

Trap Range:

Standard Trap Shooting etiquette is mandated.
Use only the prepared shooting positions.

The hand trap is in the cloak room at the clubhouse, for use by any member at any time.

Lake Rules and Conduct:

No alcohol is permitted any time while fishing at the lake!

The club lake is private and for members in good standing only: Membership cards must be displayed.

A member has the right to ask for proof of membership – please show courtesy and respect to everyone. Violations can lead to loss of membership.

Members may use the handicap dock – must concede to the handicapped if they need use of the area. Parking areas are available behind the handicap dock and above the boat launch; do not park on soft grass.

The Club Lake is electric motor only.

Fish stockings are open to the public.

The lake is open year round – except April 1 to 8:00a.m. on the first day of trout for stocking.

Club boats are first-come first-use basis. Oars and life vests are not provided.

Member’s boats are welcome. If it stays on the grounds you need a club boat sticker. Stickers can be purchased for a one time price of $3.00 from the lake committee chairman. A secure boat storage area is available above the launch area.

Members must use common sense and sportsmanship when boating on our lake. Use life vest and be courteous of people fishing from shore.

Trout:     2 per day (no catch and release)
Bass:       3 per day (under 12", release)
Perch :     3 per day (must be over 10" )
Crappie:   3 per day  (must be over 10")
Catfish:    3 per day
Bluegill     25 per day
